Caravel brings Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, and more agents into one desktop workspace. Set the direction and make the calls. Move your projects forward together.
Click “New task” and give it a goal. Watch the demo take it from start to finish — no setup needed.
Explore the full workbench using the actual product interface and its sidebar. Sample data. Actions stay in this page; refreshing restores the demo.
One person, sailing like a fleet.
Spend less time switching between terminals. Keep every task’s goal, progress, and final changes in view.
01Fleet
Your agents are the fleet.
Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, pi, Grok, and TRAE in one workbench. Give each task a goal, pick the agent that suits it, and run them side by side across projects.
Use your own agent and model accounts. TRAE requires CLI 2.0 and an Enterprise Flagship account.

04Deck
The whole deck, close at hand.
Files, databases, schedules, and workflows sit beside your tasks. Turn a successful conversation into a workflow, and let recurring work run on time.
Optionally connect Feishu to view tasks, continue conversations, grant permissions, and review results from your phone. No public server address required.
05Home port
Local projects. Your choices.
The desktop app manages your tasks and conversations. Use your own agents, model accounts, and IDE. Choose your tools and keep control of key permissions and code delivery.
Model calls and external integrations still connect to the network under each service’s terms.

Caravel: frequently asked questions
What is Caravel?
Caravel is a local-first desktop workspace for developers managing multiple AI coding agents and projects. Delegate tasks, follow conversations and permissions, and review code changes in one app for macOS and Windows.
Which AI coding agents does Caravel support?
Caravel supports Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, pi, Grok, TRAE, and Antigravity. Use your own agent and model accounts; available features depend on the agent and its installed version. TRAE requires CLI 2.0 and an Enterprise Flagship account.
How does Caravel work with Claude Code and Codex?
Caravel brings these coding agents into one desktop workspace. Keep using your own agent and model accounts while managing projects, tasks, conversations, and code reviews in Caravel.
Which operating systems are supported?
Caravel supports macOS (Apple Silicon / Intel) and Windows x64. Both platforms offer the complete app with all feature modules. Get the installer from this website or GitHub.
What do I need to get started?
You need a local project, Git, and a working agent / model account. Windows also requires Git for Windows and Node.js. Install or upgrade agents in Caravel settings, sign in, and configure a model to begin. Model subscriptions and API fees are charged by their respective providers.
How do I install Caravel? What if the first launch is blocked?
Choose an installer from this website or GitHub. On macOS, download Caravel_*_universal.dmg, open it, and drag Caravel into Applications. On Windows x64, download and run Caravel_*_x64-setup.exe. macOS and Windows x64 support signed in-app updates. Older Windows clients must first install a version that supports automatic updates; the latest installer is also available from Releases.
The Windows installer is not yet signed. If SmartScreen appears, verify that the file came from the official Releases, then choose “More info → Run anyway”.
The macOS app is not yet signed with an Apple Developer ID or notarized. After verifying the download came from the official Releases and moving Caravel into Applications, use either method below.
Option 1: Allow the app in System Settings
Try opening Caravel once to trigger the macOS warning. Then open “System Settings → Privacy & Security”, find the notice about Caravel, and click “Open Anyway”. Enter your Mac login password or use Touch ID, then click “Open”. Button wording may vary by macOS version.
Option 2: Use Terminal
Open Terminal on your Mac, paste the following command, press Return, and reopen Caravel:
This command only removes the download quarantine attribute from Caravel.app. It does not disable Gatekeeper or change other apps. If you see Permission denied, prefix the command with sudo and enter your Mac login password when prompted; Terminal does not display password characters. If the app is installed elsewhere, change the path in the command.
Does local-first mean everything works offline?
Tasks, conversations, and personal knowledge are managed locally. Agents still need a network connection to call online models, install dependencies, or use services such as Feishu. Local-first does not mean every operation is offline.
Does the browser demo run real agents?
The browser demo uses the actual Caravel interface with sample data. Task execution, model replies, Git changes, and database results are simulated. It does not invoke agents, connect to databases, or read and write your disk. Business data resets on refresh; desktop capabilities require the installed app.
Will agents modify my project directly?
It depends on the run mode you choose. Run in the original workspace, an isolated copy, or a separate branch. To review before merging, choose an isolated copy and inspect the complete diff during review.
